ISO Hawaiian Style Chili recipes

Reading another thread reminded me that I'm looking for a good Hawaiian style chili recipe specifically similar to Zippy's if possible. I lived there for a few years as a kid and now that I'm suck in the midwest, it would be nice to enjoy it like I remember it over rice, bean burrito, or butter cornbread.

      Found this online
      Not Quite Zippy’s Chili Recipe

      Ingredients:
      ■1 lb lean ground beef
      ■1 Round onion, finely chopped
      ■1/4 lb ground Portuguese Sausage
■1 large can Red kidney beans
      ■1 large can tomato sauce
      ■1/2 cup celery, chopped
      ■1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
      ■3 tbsp real mayonnaise
      ■2 tsp red wine
      ■1 tsp powdered chicken bouillon
      ■1 bay leaf, crushed
      ■1 tsp chili powder
      ■1 tsp Ajinomoto (MSG)
      ■1/2 tsp sugar
      ■1/4 tsp dried oregano
      ■1/4 tsp grated ginger
      ■1 dash Worcestershire sauce
      ■1 pinch paprika
      ■1 pinch ground cumin

      Instructions:
1.Brown hamburger and halfway through, add onions and celery. Cook until onions are turning translucent.
2.Add all remaining ingredients. Simmer for 1+ hours.

      My changes:
■Did not drain the kidney beans
      ■Doubled chili powder and cumin
      ■Added 3 tbsp mayonnaise
      ■Grated my ginger
■Used ground cumin instead of cumin seed

The original posted recipe lists Cream of Mushroom as a variation, but I haven’t tried that yet.

So you have made this? :) I've found a few recipies online, but was holding out for ones tested out by chowhounders.
