Stores (esp North of Boston) that Sell Oh Henry! Bars and Necco Wafers

Any Boston area (or Merrimack Valley) 'hounds know where I can buy about a dozen each of Necco Wafer rolls and Oh Henry bars without visiting the Vermont Country store or another throwback candy place?

I have occasionally seen the Neccos in CVS in Salem, NH, but only sporadically. Thanks. It's for a coworker whose birthday coincides w/ Halloween. Thanks again, Pinehurst

You guys rule! I'm telling you, it's tough being me....the Skybars I find but the damned Necco wafers have been hit or miss for me and the Oh Henry....well, I'd never thought I'd see 'em.

I haven't been in Pearls for a long time. I will go...and I love looking at the VT Country store. Two of my late nana's faves, "mothballs" and "Chicken bones"....old fashioned stuff, are in that catalog.

    Again--thank you!

    PS Michael's....never would have thought!

I saw bags of small rolls of Necco wafers with the Halloween candy at Shaw's yesterday. They were on sale 2/$5.00.

Isn't the company that makes Necco Wafers located in Revere? I believe they still have a factory outlet store on the premises.

There's a place in Salem NH, Pearls Candy on rte 28, that specializes in old school candy.

know you didn't ask the question this way, but just fyi, The Vt Country Store and their catalogue>> sells alot of old, 'not made anymore' candies. Like REAlly not made anymore (except through them.)

Vermont Country Store for nostalgic candy that's not made anymore is like the tourist trap of online shopping.....and no Oh Henry's. Bad idea I think.

              Example:
2 lb. Goetze's Chocolate and Double Chocolate Caramels at VCS is $14.95
2 lb. Goetze's Chocolate and Double Chocolate Caramels at Groovy Candies is $8.95

Mary Janes (1.5 lb. Bag) at VCS $12.95
Mary Janes (2 lb. Bag) at Groovy Candies $9.95

Groovy Candies is a much better buy.

North of Boston you can find Necco Wafers just about anywhere, and I saw Oh Henry's at the Hess Gas station I was at today I think in Lowell, but they shouldn't be that hard to find at most convenience stores.

Any Michael's (arts & craft) store has them as well as other old timey candy.

I just bought a roll of Necco wafers at the Market Basket in Chelsea. It was $.50, compared to the $1.09 charged at CVS. They were at the checkout at the very bottom of the rack of candy bars.

Market Basket not only has Necco, but Skybars from the same maker.
I've seen Oh Henry in some Walgreen's including the one on the south side of Lawrence.
