Southern Westchester for a Special 65th Birthday Brunch

twiggles Sep 24, 2012 02:11 PM

We are looking to have brunch (about 6 people) somewhere in Southern Westchester for my father's 65th birthday. I haven't been, but my parents mentioned X20 or Bedford Post, basically somewhere that is 'special'. Price isn't an issue, just looking for somewhere that has good food with a nice atmosphere, is a bit upscale and appropriate for a Birthday milestone. Any suggestions? Thank you very much!

I liked the actual food a lot, but I found the service kind of lack luster. It was during Restaurant Week and it was dinner. So I can't speak to brunch. I like Harvest on Hudson in Hastings for food and service, plus it's also on the Hudson.

      Stick with X20.

X20 here as we'll. I have never been for brunch, but I've read enough about it to know it's special. Plus, the location and view can't be beat. Every meal I have had there has been terrific. I have one recommendation though-- when you make your reservation, ask for a table away from the door to the deck. People are forever going in and out, and it can be very unpleasant to deal with.

looks like it's X20. Thanks everyone! And I will be sure to ask for a table away from the door to the deck. Thanks again.

X20 is one of my favorites--excellent food, unlimited champagne/mimosas, and a beautiful view
          Bedford Post isn't southern Westchester.....
