Snacking on a Sunday night

I'm entertaining two Americans from DC tonight (arriving at 4pm) and I want to take them on a little nibble tour of Montreal. We already have a light dinner covered, but I'd like to find some good bakeries/patisseries, snack food etc that we can nibble on or for them to bring back to the US with them - something they might not have where they're from. We'll definitely get some bagels, and maybe a poutine later on in the night.

I'm having trouble thinking of ideas since not everything's open on a Sunday night.

Any suggestions? I'm open to savoury and sweet... bagels, donuts (mmm donuts), pastries, macarons, buns, small snacky types of sandwiches, street food-ish things that we can takeout easily, whatever.

Thanks in advance, hounds!

Forgot about Wawel for donuts but don't know how late they open, esp. on Sunday.

My favorite donuts are from Cafe Sardine but they might only have them in the morning. I've been meaning to try the "Russian donuts" at Chez Boris on Parc as well, but haven't had a chance. They are open til 8, I believe.

A steamed hotdog, all dressed, from Lafleur's (many locations- including St. Denis on Carre St. Louis), unique to the province and eastern Ontario.

Make sure to get Liberte cream cheese for the bagels, and stick with sesame for the fresh factor.

I don't know the hours at Schwartz deli but The Main is open until 5 am across the street for a weird, late-night deli experience.

i would skip the cream cheese and go for the salmon spread, that would be my preference, I always ask for the warm bagels right from the oven.
