I think you need to try the SF board -- not sure, but Tracy might be in the Bay Area Chowhound zone.

Tracy is in San Joaquin County, which means that this is indeed the right board, NOT the San Francisco board.

For the OP: if you are looking for fresh fish to cook at home, I'd recommend checking out Costco. Seriously. Here where I live in Merced it is definitely the best retail option for seafood, with high quality, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if the same isn't true in Tracy. Much more reliable than Raley's, although every now and then Raley's will surprise me by have fresh, local, sustainable fish. (only once or twice per month, however, even during the appropriate season).
