Gaillard Long Handled Lid

Hello - Have a 11-3/4" Gaillard long handled copper lid with the no. 29 stamped along with the word Vineuil, in addition to some initials. Is Vineuil the location in France where this lid was mfgd?

    you have a wonderful find,many of these lids do double duty,turn over and cook in,at my grand mothers we roasted/toasted chestnuts in two lids
