2 nights of our Road Trip in Vegas beginning of October

Hi everyone,

My partner and I will be driving from LA to Vegas and have decided to spend 2 nights there (Mon-Tue)
We will be staying on the strip.

I thought we could have dinner at Raku on the first night and dine in a classic Vegas Steak House on the second night...our budget is not massive but as we will only be in town for two nights we want to go for it.
I have a few questions:

a) We don't normally go to buffets, but it seems to be something everyone in Vegas does at least once...will we miss out? Is the new Bacchanal one worth going to? We love food but definitely value quality over quantity.
b) I like the sound of Vic and Anthony's, also because it's Downtown so we would get the chance to spend the evening there, is it good?

For breakfast, we heard good things about Tableau and Babystacks...but it seems like Breakfast is not really a Vegas thing...are we better off with a muffin and going for lunch somewhere?

I know LOS will come up.
We are not HUGE fans of Thai, so we might skip it (sorry, sorry sorry!!)

Thanks!!

We had a great meal at Vic and Anthony's. Very old school Vegas vibe with great steaks and great service.

Highly recommend Bouchon in the Venezia Tower of the Venetian. It's my favorite place for breakfast in LV.

I second that. Bouchon is my go-to place for breakfast in Vegas. It's truly a wonderful experience.
