Sola in Bryn Mawr recs?
We have been to Sola twice before with friends. Once was wonderful, once was 'okay'. Our friends really wanted to meet at Sola so we are going there again.
What do you think Sola does really well? We can't even remember what we liked/didn't on our previous trips.
Are you aware that Sola was sold back in May and now sports a new owner?
If you are aware of that, I would say that the food actually seems quite similar to the old chef with a new owner who is much more pleasant to customers and hands on -- very willing to help in any way he can unlike the previous owner who could be quite surly.
The chef seems to be doing a fine job.
I have gone twice since the new owner took over and was pleased both times.
I say to give it another chance.
