Cannelloni in SF, North/East Bay?
I have a craving for some great meat (veal, beef) cannelloni with a light bechamel plus tomato sauce. I'll even settle for carry out. Any suggestions?
They're on the menu at Capp's Corner but I haven't ordered them.
L'Osteria del Forno's crespelle might not be exactly what you're thinking of but they're great.
I don't know if this is available now but it it were would it do? Acquerello, potato wrapped cannelloni of black angus beef brasato and truffled verdure. Would for me.
I dont have any recommendations in SF but would love to know if you find any in the city please!
Thanks, everyone. The craving's let up a bit. My next move is to try Gold Mirror & hope the bechamel sauce isn't too gloppy, but silken. I'll report but am still open to suggestions, especially with the feel of autumn in the air.
I didn't even realize Capp's Corner was still around...fantastic! Last ate at L'Osteria del Forno a few years ago with a friend from the Vaucluse. We both enjoyed it so the crespelle are also on the list.
