Cannelloni in SF, North/East Bay?

I have a craving for some great meat (veal, beef) cannelloni with a light bechamel plus tomato sauce. I'll even settle for carry out. Any suggestions?

  1. They're on the menu at Capp's Corner but I haven't ordered them.

L'Osteria del Forno's crespelle might not be exactly what you're thinking of but they're great.

    1. I don't know if this is available now but it it were would it do? Acquerello, potato wrapped cannelloni of black angus beef brasato and truffled verdure. Would for me.

      1. The Gold Mirror is an old-school Italian place on Taraval & 18th Avenue in SF. Cannelloni is one of the specialties of the house.

        1. I dont have any recommendations in SF but would love to know if you find any in the city please!

          1. Thanks, everyone. The craving's let up a bit. My next move is to try Gold Mirror & hope the bechamel sauce isn't too gloppy, but silken. I'll report but am still open to suggestions, especially with the feel of autumn in the air.

I didn't even realize Capp's Corner was still around...fantastic! Last ate at L'Osteria del Forno a few years ago with a friend from the Vaucluse. We both enjoyed it so the crespelle are also on the list.
