LA Chowser in town - looking for fun spot for dinner any part of manhattan
In town for work and suddenly find ourselves free of client obligations tonight. Four food lovers, also interested in a cocktail (or several) at a buzzy but not mobbed place. Know we can't hit anyplace major given that this is last minute, but we're willing to cab it almost anywhere for the evening. Have expense account but not unlimited. No steak (did Del Friscos) and no Italian (otto last night). Ideas?
