Something like Sage?

We ate at Sage last year and loved it. I would love to try E but the price is going to be prohibitive. We are looking to spend about $350- $400 for a couple, with wine. E looks like $500 plus. Not interested in Japanese or steakhouses. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The menu at é is $195/pp, ***without*** beverages, tax, and tip -- so, yes, it can easily net out to $300-plus. How big of a plus depends upon what you choose for wine(s), etc., but . . . .

Both at Bellagio, Picasso tasting menu with wine pairing will come under $200/person, Le Cirque just above.
