Let's Play a Game?

I don't know if anyone would be interested, or if something like this has been done already.... But here's my proposal, for anyone who'd want in...

Before Season 9, I was a huge Top Chef fan. My favorite thing to do was download the shows, hit pause after each challenge was issued, and try to invent my own solution. Sometimes, I'd get super ambitious and actually hit pause, get up, and go do the challenge, then eat my creation while I finished watching.

Well, friends, some of you are far better and more creative chefs than I, and Top Chef has taken (in this humble viewer's opinion) a decidedly snore-inducing turn for the worse.

I therefore propose the following.

Each Monday, I'll choose a season and an episode at random. I'll post here the Quickfire and the Elimination challenges for the week. You can do one, or the other, or both, as suits you. Obviously, how strictly the rules around time, available ingredients, etc are enforced are on the honor system and somewhat variable (spices I have in my pantry vs you in yours, etc)... You have till Friday to post a picture, a description, and a post-mortem on your solutions to the challenges.

Would anyone like to play?

An example, of what this week's challenge would be: Season 1, Episode 4

Episode 4: Food on the Fly

Quickfire Challenge: The chefs must create a dish in 30 minutes using $20 worth of ingredients from a gas station store. The winner gets immunity from elimination.

Elimination Challenge: Each chef must create a gourmet entree that can be reheated in a microwave.
