Peanut butter powder - how do YOU use it?

I was recently turned on to this stuff, PB2, by another CH friend and I'm digging it. I've mixed it with a little water and some Splenda and used it in lieu of peanut butter on Wasa Crisp n' Light crackers w/ jam. It's good in smoothies too. I'm guessing it'd be great in baked good like brownies or banana bread and I've heard it's good on oatmeal.

How do you use it? Have you tried the chocolate peanut butter version?

Thanks for asking this! Ever since I saw it at Whole Foods i've been trying to figure out what to do with it!

I can't believe it's gone under my radar. Admittedly, it's not a perfect substitute for peanut butter but it's pretty good and if I were trying to lose weight and cutting calories I'd mos def use it in place of real peanut butter. But I am excited to use it in bake goods, and it whatever other ways CHers can suggest (I love the suggestion of putting it in pancakes, waffles). Ooh, it's great in smoothies too.

Where do you find this? How is it packaged? I haven't ever noticed it before!

I got the PB2 at Whole Foods. Trader Joe's has peanut butter flour which some argue is more palatable than PB2 IF you add salt and sugar to it when you mix it up. It's also cheaper. I've not done a taste comparison but this blogger has and here is her post:

I dust it on tiramisu or other baked cakes or cheesecakes.

I also mix it into breadcrumbs or Panko.

I make a healthy protein shake that tastes like I've died and gone to Dairy Queen.

It's pretty awesome mixed in with my favorite hot cocoa recipe, too. It even makes sugar free hot cocoa mix palatable, I've heard. No personal experience, as I can't wean myself from my real homemade stuff.

I've added it to buttercream icing before to make a chocolate cake with peanut butter filling.

Since I seem to forget to add it my smoothies, I just threw some into the sloppy joe mixture that is simmering on the stove.

Mix it into pancake, waffle, cake, or any other batter where you'd like a little peanut flavor. Provides a more even peanut flavor throughout mixes than crushed peanuts or other methods for adding peanut flavor.
Mix into milkshakes, smoothies, ice cream.
Use with noodle, potato and rice dishes.
