Windsor dinner suggestions

I am headed to Windsor for one night and am looking for a good place for dinner -- relaxed atmosphere, decent wine and beer list would be appreciated. Any suggestions?

Franco's Pizza or any other previous Windsor pizza joint mentioned on these boards...
Motor Burger (listed on CBC for top 5 Canadian burger)
Tunnel barbeque - Pineapple torte that needs to be ordered a day in advance...

I'd rather go to Vito's in Walkerville or Centro on Erie Street for pizza. Wine lists in Windsor are never spectacular, but Toscana on Dougall near the 401, Mezzo on Erie Street or Per Bacco on Ottawa Street have decent wine lists, not to mention pretty good Italian food as well (Toscana has a more international menu). Mazaar on Ouellette (downtown) is good for Lebanese food. If you're looking for barbecue, I'd suggest heading out to Smoke & Spice (Tecumseh and Lauzon). Their smoked wings, ribs, pulled pork and brisket are all pretty good. It's not as good as Slow's in Detroit, but at least you don't have to tackle the border crossing each way.

The CookShop on Ouelette for amazing food, and nice wine. Pretty Romantic though, depending on who you'll be dining with...

The Willistead is a new addition to Walkerville's restaurant scene. Most menu items are served a la carte and in portions that encourage sharing and mixing and matching. The menu changes according to what is available locally. Wines are exclusively from Ontario and predominantly local, as are the beers on tap. There is a long bar with stools, a pleasant patio and tables inside. My only complaint is that the high ceilings and close proximity of tables to one another makes for a potential shouting match with your co-diner(s) when the restaurant is busy, which it was on a summer Wednesday evening. For a fun meal out in a place with a neighbourhood vibe, The Willistead is a great choice.

An old thread but since it's been rivived I will add this:

We ate dinner at Motor Burger last week and were thoroughly and completely impressed. Nice, trendy look with awesome burgers and craft beer. Prices are pretty good.

We had a Shrimp Fuel (shrimp burger) that was very good and Autostrada (sausage burger) that was phenomenal.

Everything was fantastic and cooked fresh.
