Chef and the Farmer Pizza

Although I've only had one pizza and it was white, it was the best pizza I've had in NC. Perfectly blistered crust, nice chew and great ingredients on top. For me, crust is the most important aspect of great pie and theirs is about perfect. We were a day early for the full monty as the expanded pizza menu started on wednesday. It looks great, and judging from the one pie on the dinner menu, should be in any conversation about NC pizza greatness.

  1. That sounds great. But you have to tell me where it is! I wanna go now that I'm back in my home state.

Worth going out of your way a bit, especially if you're headed to the beach. Just to clarify, Chef and the Farmer is a great restaurant that started serving wood fired pizza to go. It's certainly not a pizzeria. I would recommend sitting down for a nice meal and then leaving with a couple pies to take to the beach

Sue, Chef and the Farmer produces some of the best food in the entire state of North Carolina. The experience you get will remind you of some of the better places in Charleston for local ingredients sourcing and conceptualization of dishes.

      2. I was looking at the website. One pizza was on the restaurant menu. Their blog shows a pizza menu for the wine shop. Can the whole pizza menu be ordered in the restaurant?

Oops - I missed the "to go" in the earlier post!
