Lactantia Butter--"Country Churned" Unsalted???

Anyone have a clue about the difference(s) between their regular cultured unsalted and "Country Churned" unsalted? The latter is on sale around the GTA for<$3/lb but I'm hesitant to buy a load for holiday baking having never seen or used the stuff before. Any views? Thanks!

  1. The 'Country Churned' is their 'regular' butter. In my experience far more easily available then the Cultured.
    It's all a matter of taste - I ALWAYS prefer the Cultured - but the Churned is as good as (or better than) just about every other butter out there.

      Thanks. Like you, I use their cultured and haven't see the "Country Churned" type before. NoFrills has piles of this other type(salted/unsalted)on sale for 2.88/lb.

          Fiesta Farms has it on a lower shelf.
          Stocked up recently.
