Brunch in the city for a large group

We are trying to find a brunch spot in Philadelphia that can accomodate a group of 15-18 people. The brunch would be on a Sunday in early October. Any ideas? Thank you.

I wanted to check back and let you all know that we kept our reservation at Square 1682. The spot turned out to be perfect for us. We had an upstairs private room with a round table that seated 15 very comfortably. Everyone could participate in the conversations. It was restaurant week so most of us ordered off of the special menu. The food was fabulous and the kitchen sent up a variety of gelatos to accompany our desserts. We would definitely rebook if our number is the same.

During my weekend visit (with my Blue Hen daughter) I also enjoyed breakfast at a. kitchen, beer and snacks on the sidewalk at Rouge, dinner at Parc, pastries at Metropolitan Bakery, and take-out from DiBruno Bros. It was a yummy weekend and I'm looking forward to returning to your lovely city. Thank you for all your help.

Thank you everyone! These are great suggestions. All of the menus look yummy but it's hard to tell what the spaces at Fish and Supper are like. Can you elaborate? Are there private rooms or would a large group overwhelm the main dining room?

We have a reservation at Square 1682 booked but their private room will only hold 15 and we'd like to be able to expand if we need to. I do love Parc but it is often noisy and we were afraid we'd have trouble conversing as a large group. I think Old City, Center City, and Rittenhouse would be areas we would be interested in. It's a varied group of adults so I wouldn't want it to be Lacroix Sunday brunch expensive but also not Midtown cheap. (although I do like the Midtowns).

(bluenhensfan - Are you coming down to Williamsburg for the game?)

I found Square 1682 to be decent but nowhere near the quality of say Parc (which would probably be noisy).

Sorry not heading down to Williamsburg for the football game. I only do the away games if it is for a national championship or if it's really close by (like Towson) but this year, thanks to UD's asinine policy of asking for exhorbitant donations to have season tickets I have given mine up.

Doesnt Parc have private rooms? If so that would emelioarate the noise issue.

I haven't been to Fish since they moved. I would call them to ask about private rooms.

You might also consider Parc. They are french bistro with an a la carte brunch menu and can handle large parties. Contact the restaurant directly.

I think Supper could accommodate you as well. Depending on your location and price limits.

I had a great brunch at Cuba Libre in Old City recently. They can handle a group that size easily. It is a small plates format; you pay a fixed price per person ($22 or so I think) and can order unlimited plates.

If your group doesn't want to spend as much as brunch at Lacroix would cost, Fish is a nice option.

Agree with Blue Hen: more information is needed. There are very helpful Hounds here who can give you many options. Food preferences, price point, private room required, what general area of the city, all would be good to know to get some good suggestions.

LaCroix is nice, but how much are you looking to spend?
