Rosh Hashonah shopping in Cambridge

Need to pick up a babka and challah for Sunday night, and tomorrow I'll be near the Mt. Auburn Hospital in the AM. Any suggestions where to go?

Hi-Rise on Huron is close by and I bet they will have challah and some riff on a babka. Just bring your checkbook.

Thanks everyone!! We ended up at Whole Foods on River St. Had both Cinnamon and Chocolate Babka (from Lilly's in Brooklyn) as well as round challahs ( I got the last raisin one but they had more en route) and a nice display of rugelach and mandelbrot.

Good selection, WAY easier than fighting my way through the Butcherie before Shabbat.

You could try the Star Market. The Star Markets in Allston, Brighton, etc, carry challah and babka, so I would assume the one in Watertown will as well.

The Shaw's at Trapelo Rd and Pleasant St in Belmont carries Cheryl Ann's challah, which would be worth driving in that direction for.
