Good singles crowd for over 40-50 yr olds on a Thursday night after work. Lower Westchester

2 of us(women) want to go out for a drink after a long day of work tonight but want a good "energy" in the place to keep us going. We just want a glass of wine and some friendly conversation. NO sports bars or 20-30yr olds.
Something, clean, crisp, upbeat, good vibe.

Harvest on Hudson. They have some great happy hour food and drink specials too.

Chat 19 in Larchmont usually has an adult, mostly singles crowd at the bar on Thursday nights.

I also second Chat but the one in Scarsdale and there's also Village Social in Mt.Kisco....

Not exactly lower Westchester but North in Armonk has a really energetic bar scene which seems to skew to an older crowd. It can get loud but if you are in the mood for an energetic atmosphere I think it would be fun.

Vintage gets a young crowd and they are usually empty at Happy Hour. Try BLT at the Ritz Carlton or the bar at 42 (on the top floor of the Ritz Carlton). Hudson Grill on Mamaroneck Avenue gets a mature crowd from 5 to about 7ish. They have $5.00 drinks and a nice happy hour bar menu.

that was my first thought!,but perhaps there are some places- rye bar and grill, tarry lodge or arrosto all in port Chester except rye grill.anthony's coal fired, in white plains, technically more of a sports bar(decor), but not really and certainly not so much in the evenings.Crush wine bar in larchmont or gnarly vine in new Rochelle.hope you get some more ideas,these are mostly research as I am pretty much housebound at 58yo.keep me (us-hopefully) how your search goes

Yes, those are more our speed- a bit more upscale than Emmas now that I see the site.
Other than Harry's in Hartsdale, is there anything not so far East of White Plains? Further West toward River?

Harvest on Hudson in Hastings? I know you said lower Westchester, but Pour Wine Bar in Mt. Kisco may have the vibe you're looking for.
