It's back to school night and we are looking for a place to go for a drink in Baltimore County or as far south as Mount Vernon at 9 p.m. on a Thursday. Usual stop is Grand Cru but tired of the same old. Suggestions please.

The bar at Christopher Daniel in Timonium usually has a good "grown-up" crowd on weeknights. They have a nice drink menu and good selection of appetizers for sharing.
