Restaurant recommendation near Pantages Theatre for group of 8 at 4pm this Saturday

Want to have early dinner with friends prior to 6:30 play at Pantages Theatre. Thinking from 4:00-6:00PM for a group of eight. Searched YELP and Cleo was tempting but they don't open until 6:00; too late. Gourmet food in a nice ambiance preferred. Any recommendations?

    1. +1 for Hungry Cat.

Also - Wood and Vine or Lexington Social House. Of the two I'd pick Wood and Vine, but have enjoyed both places. Both are walking distance to the Pantages.

      1. Papilles or Musso & Frrank.

Hungry Cat is a good option as well.

+1 for the Hollywood classic since 1919 Musso and Frank. They serve continuously from 11am-11pm. The Saturday night special is Braised Short Ribs of Beef.

Great open face turkey and fries too as I recal.

        2. Los Balcones del Peru is my favorite restaurant close by. I also agree with the Hungry Cat recommendations.

          1. Any updates? I did a search and the most recent post is from almost 2 years ago. Was going to do Wood & Vine but didn't like Yelp reviews. Anyone like Delphine for their happy hour? We are ok with a bunch of apps instead of full on dinner...Pantages at 8 & we won't get up to Hollywood before 6:45 so would prefer to park once so walking distance would be best. Thx.

Hungry Cat will give you a 10% discount if you show your Book of Mormon ticket stub from the same days performance.

from twitter "Seeing The @BookofMormon @Pantages? Bring your ticket or ticket stub to @thehungrycat for 10% off your meal check (same day only)."

You might consider Public Kitchen and Bar http://www.thompsonhotels.com/hotels/... as a choice for this. Walking distance (yeah it's a bit of stroll, but you can park mid way between the two to start) and plenty of choices on the menu.

Delphine happy hour is very good ($1 oysters!) but the menu is very limited. Might be tough to make a full dinner out of it.
