Louisville best dining

For one night in Louisville, staying downtown what is the best restaurant in Louisville, cost not an issue but reasonably close to downtown?

Jack Fry's all the way! I've been visiting Louisville for years and trying all the best places in town, and Jack Fry's is the best I've been to. I posted a detailed report of my recent dinner there, at www.chow.com/topics/875993

Jack Fry's is about two miles from downtown. I recommend making reservations in advance, even for a weekday, because they do fill up.

go to Proof on Main. At the 21C museum hotel. Wonderful place with farm to table food that is really amazing.

Rivue is one of Louisville's top fine dining restaurants on top of The Galt. There's music and a revolving floor with great views.
                Rivue @ 140 North 4th Street, Louisville, KY 502 - 568 - 4239.
