best burger in midtown?

I am leaving NY soon and want a great burger for lunch with colleagues in Midtown (ideally east) before I go. I have been to Shake Shack, Burger Joint, 21 Club and Social Eatz. Other ideas/votes/comparisons sought. Price no object.
Keens? Smith & Wollensky? Blarney Stone? PJ Clarke's? What's your call?

    1. The burgers at Hillstone (formerly known as Houston's, in the basement of the Citicorp Building) are pretty good. The space is nice, too -especially for a (bibulous?) group meal.
I used to be a big fan of PJ Clarke's burgers, but I like them less now.

+1 for DB's, but I think of that venue as west, not east.

      1. I agree that DB is excellent. Also, though people might have an issue with it (I guess because its a chain) Hillstone's is very good. I would add that I have consistently had GREAT burgers at Smith & Wollensky's Grill (always great service, too - a nice experience). Also enjoyed Maloney & Porcelli's burger very much but that was a while ago. (Hard to pass by everything else to choose the burger - its a solid menu). Morton's has a very good burger. Any steakhouse, I guess.

Another vote for DB. The fries are glorious too!

        2. DB is great, but I think Rare on 26th and lexington is a really great and under rated burger..
