Special dinner in Paris tonight?

Due to the rush of traveling and poor planning on my part I did not make a reservation for tonight. This is the one night my wife and I set aside for a special dinner. From reviewing the boards Spring, Frenchie, Ze kitchen gallerie, and CLAJ seem to be popular. I will be making the reservation today for tonight however. I know CLAJ is closed. A friend recommended Buerre Noisette. We would pay up to 100 euros a person not including booze. Rough estimate. So most of the three stars are out of the question. We are from new York. Have been to Paris a few times but not in a while. We aren't big meat eaters unless it's locavore / farm to table, etc. Any advice would be much appreciated!

  1. Saturne is excellent and open on Mondays.

    1. No question - Ze, most inventive cooking, except for Spring, in Paris.
Saturne is inventive too but impossible to conduct a conversation in the glass-roofed room.
Beurre Noisette is fine but not at the same level as Ze or Saturne.

We were 4 of us at Saturne For dinner a few weeks ago and I didn't find the space noisy, but perhaps I'm accustomed to the crazy din of NYC venues.

      2. Maceo is open on Monday and has a delicious and inventive menu. It's a lovely place for a "special" dinner.

        1. So Joe, it's now 21h00; we're all waiting to hear how it played out.

Thank you all for your advice. Sauturne was booked and I hadn't yet read the Maceo rec and Ze Had a opening available so our choice was easy. Ze Kitchen Gallerie was excellent. The food was fantastic and we couldn't ask for better service. Thanks Paris chowhounders!
