Frosting On Fresh Strawberry Cake @ Ambrosia Bakery

Hello, NO hounds.

A non-hound friend of mine is looking to recreate the fresh strawberry cake from Ambrosia Bakery, but isn't quite sure how to make the icing/frosting, so I thought I'd pick your brains for her.

Would any of you happen to know what's in it? (I've never had it.)

Hoping this won't get moved to the Home Cooking thread. Please. :)

I've had it many times but not in the last year. IIRC I think it's a swiss meringue buttercream frosting for the base and it does have slices of strawberries in it.
