Apps / Small Plates in the Warehouse District or on Magazine
We will be in New Orleans for Art for Art's Sake on Saturday, October 6, and are hoping to stop in several different restaurants over the course of the evening for appetizers and drinks. We always go to Luke for their HH oysters, but are looking for suggestions for other places that we can stop in for a quick bite without committing to a longer dinner. Any ideas?

Bouligny Tavern has a good small-plates menu exactly for that purpose. Same ownership as Lilette next door. Would also recommend Coquette for drinks and appetizers at the bar, at corner of Magazine and Washington. While not on Magazine, other Uptown places good for drinks and snacks include Cure on Freret (fantastic cocktails and small plates) and Delachaise on St Charles for the goose-fat fried pomme frites and great wine selection.

Lilette is nice. Go to Bouligny Tavern next door for drinks before going to Lilette.
