Trying to ID a Santa Barbara restaurant

Last year colleagues and I had a really good meal at a restaurant in the heart of Santa Barbara. We are going back to Santa Barbara and would like to return to the restaurant. It was high-end casual, lots of great cocktails and vegetable side dishes, shellfish on a blackboard behind the bar maybe? I think it was on a corner. Anyone...?

Sounds like it could be "Hungry Cat" - seafood, chalk board, great cocktails, prominent bar that is used for dinner seating as well ... and ..... on a corner.

Corner of West Anapamu and Chapala Streets in the heart of the SB restaurant district near the Arlington Theater, Granada Theater and Art Museum - the 1000-13000 block dining district of State Street.

Some photos to see if this is what you were looking for: http://santabarbara.com/dining/review...

I googled "seafood and cocktails" and found it: Arch Rock Fish. Though it turns out this time our hotel is in Goleta. Sigh.

Try the Sushi Teri restaurant in Goleta - fresh and good. On Calle Real.

If you have a car, the 10-15 minute drive to SB is well worth it while you're visiting.
