Avec Bistro and Divino?

I have been to Divino several times (always a great choice), but never to Avec Bistro. We have a dinner coming up and I am trying to decide between these two. I am not trying to have a "showdown", just a compare and contrast......thanks!

We went with Avec and it was terrific. The food was great, very flavorful and is interesting while still maintaining the essence of classic bistro fare. We were also very pleased with the level of service. The atmosphere is very appealing - modern but still very comfortable. We'll be back!

Been to both and like them both. Divino is more dark and atmospheric, like a funky night out. Avec is a more casual bistro feeling. Food at both are good. Service at Avec is fantastic! Divino is staffed by kids that don't always know their food or wine.
Just depends what kind of ambiance you are in the mood for.

the last few times i've been to Divino, I've recognised staff there that had worked at Divino for years, so it's not always staffed by kids... or if it is, some of them have been there a while ;) Like the OP, i like divino but haven't ventured to Avec Bistro yet.
