Afternoon everyone,

I need assistance finding a restaurant to cater to a group/team dinner. 25 of us are looking for a place in the Civic/SOMA/Wharf area - moderately priced ($50 /per or so). Loud is good, cool is good, good food, no restrictions - any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's essentially advertising, a promotional coop of 40 or so places.

...and yet it can help someone find what they need quickly.

If you don't like it, don't patronize it, same as any place.

I always suggest this, but only because it is a large space with decent food and cocktails on the water - La Mar.

The Press Club might work. I haven't actually hosted an even there, so I don't know how feasible it is but they have the space and the vibe you are probably looking for (beer and wine only though).

Hayes Street Grill? They specialize in fish--wonderful fish--worth a call.
