brunch locale in Loop

Looking for suggestions for a breakfast/ brunch spot with a private room for out of town wedding guests.

Wedding will be held at the Rookery and out of towners will be lodging nearby. I am looking for alternatives to the hotel option for breakfast.

You're probably going to be looking at a nearby hotel restaurant. Hotel restaurants typically have private rooms for parties of various sizes. Restaurants specializing in breakfast/brunch, like the Bongo Room, Lou Mitchell's, etc, don't usually have private rooms (and can't handle large parties during their weekend crush, either).

Restaurants in the Loop that serve brunch and have private rooms include the Florentine in the JW Marriott, and Atwood Cafe in the Hotel Burnham. The Florentine is closer to the Rookery than Atwood Cafe.

You might also discuss your needs with the concierge at the hotel where you have a block of rooms for your guests. They will know what's nearby and what's good, and may be able to help make arrangements for you.
