Looks like this could be interesting:

Looking for more food related events. Anyone know a good website that keeps track of all of them? It seems like there are so many it is hard to follow where they are happening. Planning a get together with some friends later in September at some kind of food event (that isn't like 150 a person!).

Anyway, this popup is tonight and tomorrow night still. If anyone went last night please post about your experiences. It is from 7pm to 11pm (not during the day)

    went last night.

the food was pretty decent, but the execution was piss poor.

they pretty much just come to you when a new basket comes off the steamer, and you can take or leave. if you take one, they'll mark it down.

the servers are hired models in chinese dresses. they're fun and great eye candy but not exactly the best waitresses.

the xiao long bao were good. at $2 a piece, i still managed to eat 3 lol
the kung poa chicken flatbread was super spicy
skip the peking duck. not worth the $4

if you really like LWH's dim sum, just go to the regular restaurant. the pop up experience is nothing special, except for the gitchiness of it being at a trendy spot.

Thanks - i was thinking about this and have wanted to try LWH for the longest time. I've even gone so far as visiting the place, getting a card, getting personally introduced to the manager at LWH, but still I didnt get a chance to go ..

So now, I'll just go straight to the restaurant!!! :D Thanks @c_snapper!!

So they have some kind of partnership going on ..

In LWH's lunch menu (http://www.metropolitan.com/menus/lwh...), the some of the dessert comes from Senses!!!
