New pizza place in Irmo, SC

Noah's Antica Pizzeria recently opened at Shopper's Walk in Irmo. Always refreshing to see a non-chain pop up. They are take out only (for now) and open evenings. They tout a neapolitan pizza cooked in a wood burning oven. Pizzas are 12" and run about $15. I hope they're successful - they turn out a good pie.

Got by there yesterday. I hope they're successful too. I tasted an off menu special pizza with pancetta and blueberries...mozz and a sprinkle of parma cheese...it was very good with a nice thin crispy crust that was slightly charred at the edges...

Chatted a bit with the co-owner...very personable fellow...said they were expanding into the adjoining space to add some seating for dining in and beer and wine offerings. So nice to see someone bring a superior product to the area. I'll be back...

Oh yay! I'm glad you liked it. When I was there last, I didn't see the chalkboard special until people moved out of the way... and after I'd ordered. I hope it's on for a little longer. There are so many festival with street food this weekend.
