Gainesville or Cumming Ga - gift cert worthy

I need to give some people a gift certificate for a pretty big favor. A couple - probably with a teen son in tow. Are there any upscale places you'd recommend? Or even good, just non-chain. Thanks!

I looked at Scott's, Luna's and 2dog. Anybody experienced those?
