ISO hen of the woods mushroom

I've had hen of the woods mushroom at a few restaurants and have always wanted to try my hand at cooking it myself, does anyone know where I can buy some?

  1. there's a mushroom guy at the wychwood farmer's market, and i think also one at the brickworks. i think they usually have hen of the woods.

    1. I definitely had to googled these when I read your post.
For sure, though, I saw them at St. Lawrence Market last week, at the veg store in the basement (I think there is only one, so you can't miss it).

I saw them at the Maple Leaf Gardens Loblaws when they first opened. Don't know if the still stock them.

Found it here! They're certainly not cheap though, 29.99/lb.
They also have lobster mushrooms at the same price.

        2. try the cheese boutique they carry an assortment of wild and unusual mushrooms from time to time. give em a call

          1. most of the bigger asian groccers will stock it, such as T&T, Foodiemart, PAT, Galleria, Hmart, etc.....
