Too Old Corn

There are a few ears still hanging around, best to donate them to the back yard wildlife, or is there some fairly non-complicated way of turning them into something usable?

Thanks all, but it looks like the roomie beat me to it and it's in the trash...maybe next time he'll tell me what's in the bag in the back of the fridge....:(

Is this from your vegetable garden? If the corn kernels are dry and wrinkly, I'd leave it for the birds to peck. It will take forever to compost. Make corn husk dolls. sigh - summer's over.
Otherwise, if you scrape the kernels off the cob, bake with cream and butter, some mashed garlic... throw in some grated Parmigiano-Reggiano for a gratin (add tomato or green chiles). or, Google a recipe for baked corn dip. Make corn broth from the cobs and husks.

This depends alot on how old. Just a few days?
Chowder is fine, as is corn pudding.
