Kennebec potatoes?

gnashingshitfactory Sep 2, 2012 03:00 PM

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any Lower Mainland retail stores / Farmers markets that sell Kennebec potatoes?
- Sysco sells them, but only wholesale to restaurants.
..And West Coast Seeds sell the seed potatoes in the spring..
Checked Steveston market today, but to no avail.
TIA!

Try Yen Bros at 1988 Vernon Drive off of Clark. They are wholesalers but I believe they will sell to walk in customers. You'll have to buy a big sack though. http://www.yenbros.com/

Drive to Pemberton and get them from the source (assuming they're in season as I don't know much about potoato (or any) farming).

Pemberton Farmer's Market is on Friday but I have seen them @ the Squamish FM on Sat-I imagine they're in Whistler as well.
