Flavors of fall out already!
I just finished a box of Eggo's pumpkin spice waffles - a little early in the year for fall flavors, but they are darn tasty!
any other fall products out already?

People go gaga over pumpkin-flavored things, but I always eagerly await the smaller variety of maple-flavored goodies that come out in the fall and winter. I wish there were half as many mapley products, and that so many of them don't also contain walnuts or other nuts.

I didn't know about Eggo pumpkin waffles! Thanks for the tip.
Fall is my favorite season. I believe that Einstein Bagels will bring back pumpkin bagels and pumpkin cream cheese this week. So good, especially with the fall harvest or fall spice (not sure what it's called) coffee.
I also love apple cider. Pity that Michigan's apple crop was badly damaged last spring. My favorite Detroit area cider mills are buying apples from the west side of the state. I'll have to pay more, but so be it. It's also time to anticipate my favorite birthday dinner, pan-seared pork chops with sage, apples, and onions. The recipe involves deglazing the pan with cider! I cook my own birthday dinner every year because it's better than anything I could get in a restaurant. Served with hard-shell squash!
If Labor Day comes, can fall be far behind?

Just saw Pumpkin Reese's Peanut Butter Cups--had never heard of that one before. Anyone tried it?

re: jujuthomas
Agreed. The peanut butter to chocolate ratio is so much better in the holiday peanut butter cups. I believe the Easter eggs have the best ratio.
I have a stockpile of several packages of the Reese's Easter eggs in the freezer, courtesy of my husband, who doesn't understand why I think that they are better, but smiles and indulges me anyway.
