dinner time in Dublin

I am booking restaurant reservations for my trip to Dublin. What time do most people eat in Dublin? In NY we would eat at 7:30 or 8, but i know this varies by locale. For example, in Buenes Aires if you show up at 7:30, the place is empty.

7:30 or 8 is fine. Pre-theatre / early bird menus are usually served before 7 with the tables to be vacated before 9pm to allow the tables to turn. Any restaurant will be in full swing from 9pm. We Irish eat earlier than our mainland European neighbours.
