Chinese for Lunch

Any good little Chinese places on the UWS in the 70s or 80s with some good lunch specials? Like soup and main for $8-9? Looking for something decent.

      Consider going to 56 St. and checking out Szechuan Gourmet. It's way, WAY, _WAY_ better than anything on the Upper West Side.
