Holiday party venue in Vancouver

As a fairly new transplant to the lower mainland I know where I like to eat but I'm feeling stumped for potential locations for the corporate Christmas party. Requirements are: 60 people for a sit down dinner, ~$50pp for dinner and the kicker is the CEO wants a DJ & dancing. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Cibo does buyouts and great passed hors d'oeuvres, mains less salutary by quite a bit (though the chef recently changed I believe) and would be the right size. Not sure if there'd be room for dancing but you could ask.

The best places book up early, sometimes more than a year in advance, so you may be behind the eight ball already :-(.

has anyone ever been to an event (party) at the CBC downtown venues? I am curious as i often see them promoted --- interesting architecture for sure --- i don't know about what is avail for caterers tho in terms of their staging area etc.

Our xmas party was at Mahoney & Sons last year.
Food was surprisingly good and we had a DJ and dancing.

In past years we've been to Lift which is likely more money. Can't remember if we had a DJ at lift.
