  1. My vote is for RAMEN

However, I will be perfectly happy to get out-voted.

Why did banh khot get edited out?

      1. re: ...tm...

Nobody else nominated it, and since i was the only one who suggested it, I left it off. If you'll vote for it, I can add it back in to these choices.

          BANH KHOT

(I like ramen, but there are so many varieties, and few reports of good East Bay versions)

Off the topic of voting, but relevant to my ability to keep up with this project..

The "Sticky Topics" don't show up in the RSS feed that is posted at the top of the SF chowhound board. Since this is the main way I keep up with new topics I often miss the discussion when active and notice it when it gets moved to the main board. I don't know if there are a lot of other users who keep up primarily through RSS, and admit it isn't too difficult to remember to check if there any updates to the sticky topics, especially when you're focused on the dish of the month, but I often miss the fast-paced nomination or voting threads because of this.

Thanks tm. I'll add banh khot into the top post too, as promised.

                1. PICKLE

Feel like we'll appreciate ramen more once the heat of Indian summer (September and October) is behind us. And you can have pickles on your ramen . . . :)

                    1. The winner for September 2012 is cucumber pickles. Here's a link to the reporting thread: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/866098
