Castro Valley Groceries?

A friend is moving from Palo Alto to Castro Valley and is wondering about decent produce and groceries. She is a foodie like me and is bummed she will be so far from places like The Milk Pail and Piazza's. Any thoughts on where she mighty go in the area? She will be living near Redwood rd. and Castro Valley Blvd. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

No, but there's a little strip mall right there with a good cheap HK Chinese restaurant and a great Russian / Ukranian deli.
