35th Wedding Anniversary in Paris

My parents will be in Paris for 4 nights in October. I want to gift them a dinner or 2 for their anniversary but don't want to pick somewhere I can't get a reservation. We are from NYC so I want somewhere upscale, but it's not their first time in Paris so I don't need something too touristy. Any recs would be greatly appreciated???

If it's not their first trip to Paris, where have they been that they particularly liked? or that they didn't like? That might help with concrete suggestions.

Didn't mean it like that...It's a big occasion and Ny'ers are spoiled with restaurants so it needs to be somewhere special.

I would say atmosphere is most important, and food more classic, no molecular gastronomy...

As someone who's 35th was some time ago, I'll give you the perspective of age. i'd want to be thw star and not be upstaged by the room. I'd want lovely food, nice wine and sweet service in an intimate setting. Small. Like when we started out. Maybe Petrelle, upscale funk. But that's just me.
