Pollo A La Brasa in Raleigh

Like Mami Nora's, this is a rotisserie chicken place offering chickens and sides like fried plantain or black beans plus wine and beer It is on Capital Blvd in Raleigh.

Had lunch there today, the place smells great. Ordered the 1/4 chicken white meat with two sides for $6.49. The Chicken was great nice and smokey and flavorful, with a nice tasting skin. For the sides I had the black beans and the house salad. Not much you can say about the house salad and the beans suffered from too little seasoning.

They are close to my office and will put them on my list of lunch places.

I'll try to do a taste test sometime!

I'm curious if anyone has tried both locations of Mami Nora and if they are basically the same.

I haven't been as I don't go to Raleigh unless necessary. I do know that there is a Mami Nora's which is why I started the post the way I did :-)

So how did you like it? How do you feel it compares to Mami Nora's?
