Providence sausage?

Years ago, a friend who was familiar with Providence took me to a place in the Italian District that had sausage wrapped in (I think) pizza dough? It was sooo good! Does anyone know the name of the restaurant that served it? I think it was a pizza place and on a corner...

It sounds like the "Pig in a Blanket" from Caserta's: sweet Italian sausage baked in dough w/red sauce. With green peppers it becomes their "Pepper Pig". Spruce St., Federal Hill.
