Provincetown Markets, etc?
We will be staying in Provincetown next month. We have found plenty of great restaurant suggestions here, so we are pretty set in that regard.
I am looking for recommendations on any markets in Provincetown (or elsewhere on the outer cape). More specifically high quality butchers, seafood, farm stands, etc.
Thanks in advance!

re: Gabatta
Angel Foods on Commercial St. on the east end of town is a nice little specialty food shop with some gourmet items, cheeses, oils, deli. They do a nice job on prepared food selection, sandwiches, and baked goods, too. There's also a small butcher case with good cuts of beef, Bell & Evan chicken and the like.
There's also a good natural/organic food store on Bradford St. called Bradford Market. It's small (it IS PTown after all,) but they have a good, albeit pricey, selection of veggies and groceries and sundries.
Don't miss the Portuguese Bakery in the center of town on Commercial. Warm malasadas to die for. Or be sure to hit PB Boulangerie on the way to Ptown in Welfleet on the right side of Rte 6 for awesome french breads and pastries.
Lastly, PTown has it's weekly farmers market on Saturday afternoons (11a-4p) next to the town hall.

In Truro
http://www.macsseafood.com/markets/tr... is a Yay! We go there for meat (grass fed burger) as well as fish and local veg.
The abutting grocery store, Jams, is a Nay. Very overpriced and nothing special.›1 Reply
