Edmonton: where to get salt beef?

Hello folks. This is a question for the Newfoundlanders and Labradorians in the crowd.. we are looking for a source for salt beef in Edmonton. Usually purchased by the bucket back home in NL, from what I am told.. any pointers as to where a guy could find some here? Can't do a proper jig's dinner without it, b'y.. :)

Not positive, but I think I recall seeing salt beef buckets in the fish section of Superstore.

If it is a white bucket with a map of Newfoundland labeled naval beef, then confirmed they carry it at Superstore. Look around the fish section.

I like Sobey's but they can be pricey. No Frills out where we are has it by the bucket in the deli section--so I expect you'll find it in your local No Frills. :)

Do you have Sobey's stores up there? I've seen it at Sobey's in Calgary.

We do have Sobey's.. I will give them a try when I have a moment and report back. Thanks for the tip!

No prob... they also carry a few Purity products. I've seen Jam Jams, biscuits, Kisses, Bulls Eyes and Nobs before.
