Hi, Are there any cooking classes that specialize in different cuisines? I have found through word of mouth when I lived in other cities those that are not as expensive and not listed in yelp, etc.. Just wanted to know of if there was smaller cooking classes and not the ones that are advertised alot and that are expensive?

For example..at macys in california, they had cooking classes with a donation of a canned item, at a nursery, they had free cooking classes in fermentation, raw foods, citrus, italian, etc, and at a lebanese church they had 30 dollar cooking classes.

Thanks so much!

    greenwise has inexpensive classes. http://www.publix.com/aprons/schools/...

Also, in the most recent Sur la Table catalog was a "coming soon" for cooking classes at their Boca location, with classes listed for some of their other locations.

I'm not sure where you are looking for these classes but I know Macy's here in Miami has done a few, one with Michelle Bernstein. I think it's at Dadeland Mall location in Miami. I'm not sure how accurate this site is but it may help. http://www.southfloridagourmet.com/ne...

Eleanor Hoh also has her Wokstar classes that are very good and a lot of fun. More here - http://eleanorhoh.com/miami-wok-cooki...
