Quiet Bar-not too smokey

Looking for a good quiet neighborhood bar that doesn't leave you smelling like an ashtray, somewhere Uptown, Garden District, Irish Channel, Riverbend, etc. No live music or loud tvs, etc. Just a good place to have a regular drink and hang out.

Oak, Cure, and Bouligny Tavern are all uptown and no smoking. They're definitely good bars but on the uppity end of the bar spectrum. Not sure if that's what you're looking for.

Oak is one of the loudest bars I've ever been in, when it's busy.
