Beat the Chefs

Did anyone see this one on the Game Show network? A team of home cooks prepare their signature dish while a team of pro chefs (Beau Mac was one of them) prepares the same dish their way. A panel of judges determine which team made the better dish, The show was 2 1/2 hr segments featuring two different home cook teams. The 1st HC team made chicken and dumplings and beat the chefs. The other HC team made fried chicken with greens and lost to the pros.

Just saw a few minutes of this. What a piece of garbage!!! I have just lost respect for Antonia and Beau.

i liked it!
i just watched the lasagna episode.
liked that the chefs didn't know what the dish is, until the home cooks announce it.
and i'm glad the judges aren't part of the tv/food circuit, although we've all seen the pro chefs before on many other shows on many other channels. :-)

the lunch ladies won the lasagn, tex-mex lasagna.
the chefs won the lamb chops.

I should have added that the time/day I mention may differ for you. I based it on the local cable co here in Las Vegas.

no worries. 9 pm on GSN on comcast cable for west coast. i'll need a break from the RNC by 9. :-)
